Texas First Bank and its Chairman of the Board Matthew T. Doyle are pleased to announce the election of Joseph P. “Joe” Chuoke to its Board of Directors.
Chuoke is a senior executive of Mitchell Chuoke Plumbing, Inc., a locally owned commercial plumbing company founded by his father in 1946. He earned his Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Texas at Austin in 1984, returning to Galveston County soon thereafter.
He is active in his community, where he has served on the Finance Council at St. Mary of the Miraculous Medal Catholic Church in Texas City, Texas and dedicates his time and efforts to empower and provide development opportunities to young people through the Texas City/La Marque Jaycees. He is currently an Assistant Scoutmaster with Boy Scouts of America Troop 246.
Joe and his wife, Ellen, have two daughters, four sons, and one daughter-in-law. A true outdoorsman, his hobbies include hunting, biking, and water skiing.
