Texas First Opens New Conroe Facility

Banking, Our Team

First to House Bank, Insurance, and SBA Department in One Location

Texas First Bank and Texas First Insurance today opened a new, full-service facility in Conroe, Texas located at 1965 South Loop 336 W, just east of Sgt. Ed Holcomb Blvd South. The new facility is the first location in the family-owned and operated Texas First network to bring banking, lending, small business services, and insurance solutions together under one roof.

Previously located in downtown Conroe, Texas First Bank has relocated its 17-year-old banking center to the new facility on South Loop 336, where Texas First Insurance, the bank’s commercial lending team, and the bank’s Small Business Administration (SBA) lending department have also established offices. The Bank has expanded its previous offerings to the community by now boasting two drive-thru lanes, a 24-hour drive-up ATM, a night depository, safe deposit boxes, and Saturday lobby service for customers.

“We couldn’t be happier with how the facility has turned out. Our goal has always been to serve our customers where and how they choose. Our digital banking solutions are great for many, but there are times when customers prefer to meet in-person to discuss their specific needs. With experts from banking, lending, and insurance under one roof, we’re excited to make those conversations even easier and give our customers a great way to get the advice and solutions they need for their unique situation,” stated Christopher Doyle, President and CEO of Texas First Bank.

The Conroe team is led by Banking Center Manager Kim Miller, Relationship Managers George Rose and Jeffery Morgan, SBA Officer Ryan DeWoody, and Insurance Producers Al Shotwell and Marc Fragos. The banking center is open Monday through Friday 9AM to 5PM and Saturday 9AM to 12PM, with lenders and insurance staff available Monday through Friday 8AM to 5PM.

“I would like to personally invite the community of Conroe to visit our beautiful, new location. The Bank just celebrated fifty years in business last year, and our Insurance Company is celebrating 100 years next year. In this time of ever-changing providers, we are proud to be strong, solid, and secure organizations you can count on,” shared Jerry Blystone, President of Texas First Insurance. “Our team has a wealth of knowledge, energy, and experience and is ready to deepen our existing relationships while developing new ones. Conroe is the perfect place for that.”

Texas First in Conroe is open and serving customers as of Monday, February 26, 2024. The location will host a Grand Opening celebration and ribbon cutting on Wednesday, March 27, 2024 from 3:00PM to 5:00PM.
